Humanize AutotyperChrome extension

Terms of service

Last updated 2 August 2026.

1. The agreement

These terms are between you and Humanize Autotyper ("we", "us"), and they govern your use of the Humanize Autotyper Chrome extension, this website, and the licensing service behind them (together, the "Service"). By installing or using the Service you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the Service.

2. What the Service does

The Service types text that you supply into a document open in your browser, one keystroke at a time, with adjustable human-like timing. It does not write, generate, translate, or alter the meaning of your text.

3. Plans, pricing, and renewal

Cancellation and refunds are governed by our refund and cancellation policy, which forms part of these terms.

4. Payment

Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. We do not receive or store your card details. Your use of Stripe's checkout is additionally subject to Stripe's own terms and privacy policy. You are responsible for any taxes that apply to your purchase beyond those we are required to collect.

5. Acceptable use

You agree to use the Service only with text you own or are otherwise entitled to use, and only where doing so is permitted by the rules that apply to you.

You must not use the Service:

You are solely responsible for what you type and where you type it, and for determining whether using an automated typing tool is permitted in your particular situation. We may suspend or terminate a licence that we reasonably believe is being used in breach of these terms, and will refund any unused prepaid period if we do so for reasons other than a serious breach.

6. Licence

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service for as long as your plan is active. We retain all intellectual property rights in the Service. You retain all rights in your own text; we neither receive nor claim any interest in it.

7. Availability

We aim to keep the licensing service available continuously, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. The extension is designed to keep working on your last known plan for up to 7 days if the licensing service is unreachable, so a brief outage does not lock you out.

The Service depends on Google Chrome and on the websites you type into, and may be affected by changes to either that are outside our control.

8. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that it will be error-free or suitable for any particular purpose.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data, lost profits, or academic, disciplinary, or professional consequences arising from your use of the Service.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Material changes will be reflected in the "last updated" date above, and if you have an active paid subscription we will tell you by email before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after that constitutes acceptance.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time by cancelling your subscription and uninstalling the extension. We may terminate or suspend access for breach of these terms. Sections 6, 8, and 11 survive termination.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and the courts located there have exclusive jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence gives you the right to bring proceedings locally.
